Matching strips in three steps

  1. Drop it in the slot

    Slide the jig into the left miter slot and set the roller just in front of the blade.

  2. Set the width

    Bring the roller to the blade tooth, read the strip width on the scale and tighten the star knob.

  3. Fence up and cut

    Move the rip fence until the stock touches the roller, lock it and cut. Repeat for every strip.

Why the strip falls free

  • The reference sits on the off-cut side, so the thin strip drops away instead of binding against the blade.
  • A one-way bearing roller lets stock move forward and stops it creeping back.
  • Imperial (1/32") and metric scales are laser-etched, so they do not rub off.
  • Hardware included for 3/4" × 3/8" miter slots and 1/4" × 3/8" T-tracks.

Will it fit my saw?

It fits saws with a standard 3/4" × 3/8" miter slot, plus band saws and router tables with the same slot or a 1/4" × 3/8" T-track.

How thin can I cut?

Down to about 1/32" (1 mm), depending on the stock and your blade.

Why cut on the off-cut side?

A thin strip trapped between blade and fence can bind and kick back. Here the strip is free to fall away.
