Marked in three steps

  1. Pick the stop

Choose 90° for square or 45° for chamfers and miters.

  2. Set it on the edge

Press the head flat on the edge until the stop seats.

  3. Mark the line

Mark along the blade. The anti-slip design keeps it still.

Why the line comes out square

  • Positive stops seat at 90° and 45°, so the angle does not drift while you mark.
  • Stainless steel edges stay straight and do not rust.
  • The anti-slip design holds the ruler in place for one-handed marking.
  • Light aluminum body for a full day of layout.

Questions

30 cm or 40 cm?

30 cm is quick for most marking. 40 cm gives a wider base for big boards and panels.

How accurate are the stops?

Accurate enough for trim, framing and layout, where the stop is the measurement.

Will it rust?

The edges are stainless and the body is aluminum.

Framing a room where the walls weren't square to each other. Grabbed this ruler, laid it in each corner, and had every angle I needed to cut the studs. No guessing, no math.

The 45° stop is dead accurate and the bigger 40cm size means I can check angles on wider boards without resetting. Aluminum is light enough I don't notice carrying it.

Metalworking layout — I need both 90 and 45 and the ability to read off custom angles. This ruler does all three without switching tools.

Solid ruler and the 90° stop holds tight. The scale graduations are fine enough for layout work. Would give 5 stars but the numbers are a bit small for my eyes in dim light.

Trim carpentry where every angle matters. The positive stops mean you're not trying to eyeball 45 or 90 — you feel it click in and you know you're right.

Drywall hanging on tapered walls. Used this to find the slope in each direction and was able to cut sheets without a second trip for bad fits. Anti-slip grips are real.

Cabinet installation where doors need to be set perfectly. Checked each corner with this, adjusted the hinges, and doors hang square. Worth every penny.

Good accuracy and the weight is reasonable. The anti-slip coating works well. Took a moment to learn which scale to read for custom angles but the instructions helped.
