Dowel holes in three steps

  1. Align the notch

    Line up the notch on the center rod with your mark on the board.

  2. Clamp and drill

    Close the clamp and drill through the steel sleeve.

  3. Index the next

    Drop the supplied pin into the finished hole and drill the next one at the same spacing.

Why the holes land in the middle

  • The clamp closes equally from both sides, so the guide finds the board center.
  • High-strength steel sleeves keep the bit straight and do not wear oversize.
  • The indexing pin spaces a row of holes evenly along an edge.
